Rockwater / Halliburton : 1994-1997 Subsea Safety Engineer


  • IOC : Maintenance & Engineering : Final readiness, startup and vulnerability management of Southern Caucasus Pipeline extension project sites and Shah Deniz II processing plant at Sangachal terminal. In preparation for TANAP Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline first gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Italy in Dec2020.
  • 20% reduction ($30m) of AGT midstream sustainable opex per annum through application of digital technologies, upskilling, Agile and Lean methodologies
  • Step change (30%) reduction of schedule and cost for the Tangguh LNG Train outages through application of new technologies, global first skid based replacement of turbines during TAR and Kaizen CI application to critical path workscopes
  • Transformation of wrench time metrics at Tangguh LNG site, Indonesia from 3.2hrs /shift to 6.5hrs through site-based assessment and change management programme centred on process and operating discipline. Improvement of benchmark maintenance performance of Tangguh site maintenance from 4Q to 2Q quartile (Philip Townsend Associates) over 3years
  • Increasing reliability and availability of the Greater Plutonio FPSO, Angola from 62% operating efficiency to 98% operating and sustaining this performance year on year. Performance improvement achieved through solid management of process safety, risk, reliability and planned outages.
  • Leadership through three sequential annual super TARs (>100days each) for a distressed harsh water FPSO transforming its process safety, integrity, and reliability to deliver final year steady high production prior to off-station. Rigorous prioritisation of activity slates, risk management and scheduling underpinned this period of performance improvement.
