Tom has over 40 years of experience working within the Maritime sector, where the first
decade was in the shipping industries, before moving into the oil, gas, and LNG segment. Tom
worked for Shell for 33½ years until he retired from the company at the end of 2020.
Tom has extensive experience in the management and construction of large projects. He has
been involved in the construction of 5 Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC’s), 10 LNG Carriers
(LNGC’s) and 3 Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) Assets.
Tom has significant experience in concept through to delivery of many projects with time
spent on a number of projects within the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase and was
recently part of the management team to contract the delivery of 22 LNGC’s that commenced
delivery in 2020 and will complete in 2025.
